Annual Golf Tournament

Victim Services Society hosts a major golf event each year in August, at a local Golf Course. The tournament  continues to be an event that both players and volunteers return to year after year. One player I'm told has come back from Toronto to take part in the day. Through the support of our Community businesses and individuals, who become Hole Sponsors, Prize Donors and volunteers, we are able to make this event a continued success.  Our 2005 tournament -our 15th Year - will be held at the Cougar Creek Golf Course August 22nd in Parkland County, Alberta.

Annual Fun-spiel

Our Second Annual 'Fun-spiel' was held at the Stony Plain Curling Rink.  Curlers of all ages are welcome to come out and take part in the fun, the emphasis is on fun and is capped off with a catered dinner.  If you haven't curled before or are just starting you are welcome to take part. Come out with some friends or by yourself and meet new friends and enjoy the day. Plans are under way to host our third annual event. So give us a call and let us know you are interested.  The date is yet to be confirmed.
